About this organisation
Starfish Projects is dedicated to supporting vulnerable and abandoned children by helping place them in safe, loving family environments where they can thrive.
Through their various programs and initiatives, they provide support and resources for children, places of safety, foster parents and safe houses. Their mission is rooted in compassion, dignity and the belief that every child deserves to feel safe, loved and supported.
The organisation also works closely with social workers, foster families, schools and community partners to ensure that the care and support they provide is ethical, accountable and sustainable. In addition to assisting children directly, Starfish Projects raises awareness around orphan care and provides support to extended communities and families in need.
Their impact includes helping place approximately 149 babies and children into places of safety and foster care homes, while currently supporting around 64 babies and families through their initiatives.
