About this organisation
Heart of Stella Foundation is a South African non-profit organisation dedicated to protecting, empowering and uplifting vulnerable babies, children and families. Founded in 2022, the Foundation addresses both immediate needs and the underlying challenges that contribute to poverty, neglect and inequality.
Its work focuses on creating safer childhoods and stronger communities through Early Childhood Development, crèche development, child protection and advocacy, community outreach, humanitarian relief and awareness campaigns. The Foundation also works closely with businesses, schools, healthcare providers, social workers, community organisations, volunteers and fellow non-profits to ensure resources reach children and families where they are needed most.
Heart of Stella Foundation currently supports at least 7 organisations and more than 700 children through its active reach. Its approach is built around collaboration, dignity and the belief that it takes a village to protect and provide for a child.
